Add to that the larger ranges between Highs and Lows during the day and you have to use much larger stop losses. Larger stop losses mean BIGGER Losses on your trades. The volatility is too great and so the risk is too much.
By changing to a Day Trading Strategy especially in the Foreign Exchange (Forex) investors and traders are able to capitalize on the bigger ranges being put in everyday. Since the ranges have doubled; tripled; even quadrupled per day in the last six months it has been much easier to capture easy profits. For example: Most Currency Pairs have been averaging about 300 pips per day the last 6 months. So if you were able to pick the bottom or top (you can't) being a swing trader you might be able to pick up about half of that in a day. But with the Natural Up and Down flow of the market between the High and Low of the day that same currency pair moves about 750 pips a day. By understanding how to trade with the natural up and down swings of the market you can easily pick up the swing amount without the risk and still be flat at the end of each trading period thus saving the swap or interest.
